Jan Howard Collects ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprint Win At Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (April 13, 2024) Taking on Baton Rouge Raceway Saturday night, Arkansas’ shoe, Jan Howard, was the class of the field with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints.

Jan’s second win in the past two seasons at Baton Rouge, the No. 121 rode second through the first ten laps as Jacob Harris showed the way. Under fire on Lap 11, the pair traded the top spot around before Howard took over just past the race’s mid-point.

Keeping pace from there, Howard made it to the finish with 0.942-seconds to spare. Jacob Harris held on for second with Tyler Harris crossing third. Levi Beard and Evan McElhaney, from tenth, made up the top five. Tearing through the field from 22nd, Brandon Blenden nabbed sixth, followed by Blake Carrier in seventh. Tommy Hall, Jake Bashier, and Steve Byunm completed the top ten.
