Pair of 12th-place finishes with Lucas Oil at Brownstown Speedway

For a special doubleheader weekend, Earl Pearson Jr. and the Papich Racing team invaded Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned C.J. Rayburn Memorial.

WIth 45 Late Models in the pit area, EPJ transferred to the main event after a third-place run in his heat and placed 12th in the $10,000-to-win memorial race.

For Saturday's Jackson 100, Earl charged forward in his heat race to record a runner-up finish which placed him on the fourth row for the $30,000-to-win feature. During the 100-lap main event, EPJ recorded a 12th-place finish.

Earl currently sits tenth in the series points standings.
