Parker Martin seventh at Lake Cumberland with DIRTcar Summer Nationals
Starting off his busy Fourth of July weekend, Parker Martin traveled North to Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Ky.) on Friday afternoon to compete with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals.
Following a fifth-place finish in his heat race, Martin made up four spots to record a Top-10 finish in the $10,00-to-win main event.
After Saturday's event was rained out, Parker made his way to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) on Sunday to join the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series. Parker gained two positions in heat race but was unable to move forward in the feature which placed him in the 11th-position.
Returning to the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Monday afternoon at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.), Parker started on the fifth-row and moved to the seventh position in the 40-lap main event.
