Berry Bags Clay County Checkers
Tom Berry Jr. returned to action and to his winning ways on Monday night at Clay County Fair Speedway. The Iowa driver topped a field of 39 IMCA Modifieds to score the $1,000 Midwest Modified Tour victory.
Berry Jr. started his outing with a fifth-to-second run in his heat race, which positioned him sixth on the starting gird for the 25-lap feature.
IN the main event he stormed to the lead and ultimately the victory, which marked his sixth of the 2022 campaign. He was followed across the finish line by Tim Ward, Kelly Shryock, Josh Rogotzke, and Jarrett Brown.
