Allen Invades FALS for Prairie Dirt Classic Weekend

Returning to the Illinois bullring, Chase Allen trekked to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) as a round of preliminary features on Friday kicked off the 33rd annual Prairie Dirt Classic weekend.

Amassing a stout field of 63 DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, Allen's time trial effort in his qualifying group placed him on the third row for his 20-lap prelim. Chasing a $500 prize, Chase was an early retiree on lap six.

Buried deep in a B-Main on Saturday for one last shot at the $5,000-to-win Prairie Dirt Classic, Chase made the decision to scratch to save his equipment.
